The Neural Interfaces & MicroSystems Laboratory at DGIST is dedicated to creating new technologies that can interface the human body with artificial technical systems (e.g., computers, robots, prosthetic arms and legs, neural stimulators), such as brain-computer interface (BCI) or brain-machine interface (BMI) technologies. Our current research focuses include the development of brain interfaces and peripheral nerve interfaces for high-quality, high-resolution recording and stimulation of neural tissues, using soft bioelectronics based on soft and flexible polymeric materials.
